Welcome to arttattack.com. My name is Shannon T. Lee and this is my online portfolio. I'm a freelance illustrator working out of the San Francisco Bay Area. My interests range from cartoons to pop culture to sports, which is where a lot of my inspiration comes from. I tend to get a little warped, much like my illustrations. I use a gouache lift-off technique best described as "Secret Formula X." Without giving away too much of the process, it involves white gouache, black ink, a bathtub, watercolor, and photoshop. As for subject matter, I try to stay topical while telling as much of the story as possible. Most things in the news are already ridiculous to begin with so I just try to turn up the cartoon factor.
